Alabama Business Directory – Terms of Service – Community Standards
ABD is committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and trustworthy platform that supports Alabama businesses and shoppers.
1) Listing Integrity
- All business information must be truthful and accurate.
- No deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent claims.
- Businesses must comply with applicable laws and licensing requirements.
- ABD reserves the right to refuse or remove listings that violate our standards.
2) Business Qualification
- Businesses must be legally authorized to operate in Alabama.
- Listings must be submitted voluntarily by an owner or authorized representative.
- Businesses must maintain ethical and professional practices.
- Maintain a 3.0-50 review rating
3) Refund & Cancellation Policy
ABD – Alabama Business Directory annual memberships are billed at $149.99 per year and may be canceled at any time by the member.
If a cancellation request is made during the subscription period, refunds may be issued on a monthly prorated basis for the unused portion of the annual membership. The monthly service value is calculated at $12.50 per month.
Refunds are calculated as follows:
Refund Amount = $149.99 − ($12.50 × Months of Service Used)
Please note:

By purchasing an ABD membership, you acknowledge and agree to these refund and cancellation terms.
4) Appropriate Content
- No illegal services, explicit content, scams, or counterfeit goods.
- No fake businesses, fake reviews, or manipulative behavior.
- All images and content must be properly licensed and accurate.
5) Reviews & Conduct
- Reviews must reflect genuine experiences.
- No harassment, hate speech, or abusive language.
- No incentivized or manipulated reviews.
6) Privacy & Security
- No unauthorized data collection or phishing activity.
- Only official business contact information may be published.
7) Enforcement
- Minor violations may result in warnings.
- Serious or repeated violations may result in listing removal or suspension.
- ABD reserves the right to take appropriate legal action when necessary.
8) Disclaimer
- ABD provides advertising and directory services only; no performance guarantees are made.
- Listings are submitted by business owners or representatives; ABD is not responsible for inaccuracies.
- ABD may update these terms at any time.

To be approved and remain listed, businesses must:
- ✔ Provide accurate, truthful, and verifiable information
- ✔ Operate in compliance with all applicable laws and licensing requirements
- ✔ Maintain a minimum 3.0 star rating based on public customer feedback
- ✔ Demonstrate professionalism, honesty, and ethical business practices
- ✔ Respect customers and uphold a positive community reputation
ABD reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove listings that do not meet these standards at any time.
